5. Big Show 

Many people don’t know that behind the scenes, Paul Heyman was always one of the greatest admirers of Big Show. However, when Big Show first made his debut, he didn’t live up to the expectations and was sent back to OVW to improve his condition.

When he returned to the main roster, Show was traded to SmackDown in October 2002. Heyman was the Show’s head written at that time and convinced Vince McMahon to give the former World Heavyweight Champion a push.

At Survivor Series 2002, Heyman aligned with Big Show and turned against Brock Lesnar to hand the Beast his first pinfall loss in WWE. Their pairing was a big hit as their off-screen chemistry was transferred to television.

4. Mick Foley 

Foley is one of the legends of WWE and is a Hall of Famer. During his time in ECW, he joined with Heyman, where he evolved and showed the wrestling fans his range as a performer. 

His Anti-Harcore promos against the ECW fans were some of the best in wrestling history. In addition, his alignment with Paul Heyman made him a star even before his arrival in WWE.

Paul Heyman had been away from WWE for several years when CM Punk named him in the “pipe-bomb” promo. This brought Heyman back to the world of professional wrestling and paved the way for his return.

Punk faced numerous obstacles in his path as WWE was not looking at him as a future star, but Heyman was a firm believer in Punk from his OVW days and took him to the ECW brand in 2006.

Heyman returned to the company in 2012, and it was an on-screen union between the two. Punk was the WWE Champion at that time and turned heel when he attacked The Rock and then joined forces with Heyman.

He became one of the great heels World Champion with Heyman in his corner. He even remained a champion for a record number of days. However, there is no doubt that CM Punk was his best partner in crime.

2. Roman Reigns 

Roman Reigns as a heel, has done wonders to his career and WWE, and a lot of credit should go to Paul Heyman. After Reigns returned to WWE following a 5-month hiatus, the company turned him into a heel.

The Tribal Chief has put on some of his career-best performances with Heyman by his side and also went on to become the WWE’s Undisputed Champion after beating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38. He has been a Universal Champion for 600+ days. 

Former ECW head has added a massive on-screen presence to The Bloodline as “Wise Man” and has stolen several entertaining backstage segments. Heyman was also the focal point of Reigns’ storyline with Brock Lesnar.

Paul Heyman was appointed as Brock Lesnar’s agent in 2002, and it changed both men’s careers forever. Lesnar’s rookie career took off instantly while Heyman established himself as WWE’s greatest manager.
