Predicted XI

1. Kepa Arrizabalaga (GK)

He didn’t have too much to do in the last game but hasn’t quite justified his huge price tag so far.

2. Cesar Azpilicueta (RB)

The Spaniard has been solid at the back all season and Sarri should continue to rely on him.

3. David Luiz (CB)

Showed a lot of improvement in the last outing after a nightmarish display against Spurs and should retain his place in the team.

4. Antonio Rudiger (CB)

The German international has been one of the standout figures for Chelsea at the back this season and he will be expected to keep up his good work.

5. Marcos Alonso (LB)

The Spaniard hasn’t really hit top gear in recent weeks and he will need to put in an improved performance on Wednesday.

6. Jorginho (CDM)

He has established himself as one of the most prolific passers of the ball in the Premier League and Sarri should continue to rely on him to dictate terms in the midfield.

7. N’Golo Kante (RCM)

The Frenchman has struggled to make an impact on the right of a midfield three but he should be high on confidence after registering an assist in the last game.

8. Ruben Loftus-Cheek (LCM)

Mateo Kovacic hasn’t done anything exceptional and Ross Barkley is ruled out so Sarri must consider handing the youngster a start after he scored in the last game.
