Rusev and Lana might have split now but they were incredible as a couple on WWE
WWE stars Rusev and Lana have split up in recent months after spending years together as a couple.
The marriage came falling apart after Bobby Lashley alleged that Rusev was cheating on Lana. However, the Bulgarian refuted the claims but that was to no avail.
Lashley and Rusev had a huge fight too and it was the All Mighty that came out with the girl in the end.
Rusev and Lana were a great couple in the past and the WWE Universe also got behind them, especially as the Bulgarian pushed to win a title or too.
WWE also pushed them in several commercials with the pair starring in one for Snickers.
Rusev and Lana are dressed to go out and the Bulgarian offers Lana a gold necklace she wants to try out. However, as soon as she reaches for it, Rusev slams the lid down and gets his wife upset.
He asks Lana to try it out again but the Ravishing Russian was in no mood to play more games.
This ad came out almost a year ago but things have only gone downhill for Lana and her new partner Lashley.
Disasters at the wedding and WrestleMania 36
Lana and Lashley’s wedding was a disaster as their first attempt didn’t go too well. Rusev and Liv Morgan interrupted that event with Morgan even claiming she was in love with the Russian.
Both Lana and Lashley were beaten up and humiliated with the wedding cake, but they finally got hitched a few days later.
Rusev hasn’t been seen much on screen since then while Lashley had a big chance to impress at WrestleMania 36.
He was ready to beat Aleister Black but Lana wanted him to go for a spear rather than ending the clash.
Black took advantage of that and won the match while Lashley and Lana were left to ponder what might have been.
