Bronny James, the eldest child of NBA legend LeBron James, experienced a cardiac arrest while practicing basketball at the University of Southern California.
He was immediately taken to the hospital on July 24th. Thankfully, he has now been moved out of the intensive care unit and is currently in a stable condition. LeBron and his wife Savannah publicly expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the medical and athletic staff at USC for their exceptional efforts and commitment to ensuring the safety of their athletes.
Bronny, who is 18 years old, has recently graduated from Sierra Canyon High School in Los Angeles and is now preparing to begin his college journey as a freshman at the University of Southern California (USC) where he will play for their basketball team. Standing at 6-foot-3, he is known as a versatile combo guard and has garnered significant attention as a four-star recruit.
His outstanding performance in the McDonald’s All-American Game in March further showcased his talents among the nation’s top high school basketball players. During his senior year in high school, he maintained impressive averages of 14.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. Now, he joins USC’s basketball team as they aim to secure their fourth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

James, who measures 6 feet 3 inches (1.91 m) tall, possesses versatile skills that allow him to play both point guard and shooting guard positions. Despite not having the typical size of most NBA players with his abilities, he has been lauded for his exceptional shooting and defensive capabilities.
