Osaka and Kobe were very close to each other and his untimely death deeply affected the Japanese star. Osaka and Kobe met in June 2019, just six months before the latter’s horrific death. While their friendship had little time to blossom, Kobe provided unconditional support to Osaka and she loved and admired him like a big brother.
