The 19-year-old has already won four titles this year. He is currently ranked sixth in the world. Since turning pro in 2018, Alcaraz has proven to be a quick learner and has earned praise for his work ethic.

Now the Spaniard has tried his hand at speaking German. Tennis Championship International posted a video on Twitter of Alcaraz learning German in Hamburg. Alcaraz is currently playing in the Hamburg European Championship. The talented youngster is getting good practice from participating in this tournament ahead of the US Open which begins on August 29.

In the video, Alcaraz read out some German words with confidence. His effort would get full points, but his pronunciation wouldn’t. However, he will only get better at it. In the middle of the video, one of the sentences translated to “German is pretty easy” but Alcaraz didn’t agree, and the moment was quite hilarious.
