The Russian tennis pro began his Cincinnati Open campaign with a comprehensive 6-4, 7-5 victory against Botic van de Zandschulp in the round of 32. He didn’t have a memorable time at the recently-concluded Canadian Open as he lost in the first round against Nick Kyrgios 7-6 (7-1), 4-6, 2-6.
