Martina Navratilova, who never holds back, reacted to the Tweet of Elon Musk regarding impersonation.
There have been a lot of controversies that have come to the fore since Elon Musk took over Twitter. The world’s richest man has laid off half of Twitter’s approximately 3,700 employees and urged the remaining to work 12 hours per day and even on weekends to make the service changes that he deemed necessary.
Musk recently announced that Twitter would permanently suspend accounts that engage in impersonation without clearly specifying “parody”. This decision was taken after many users changed their account names to “Elon Musk”. This was done to protest against his plans to charge $8 per month for the blue checkmark that signifies that an account is verified by the platform.
The legendary Martina Navratilova reacted to this tweet from Elon Musk with a two-word reply. She quote retweeted Musk’s tweet and wrote: “How wimpy…”

To this, Navratilova replied:
“If I get suspended or banned I will be on Mastodon as @theMartina
But yeah, its rather unpredictable, isn’t it?”
For those who don’t know, Mastodon is an app similar to Twitter that has seen a huge rise in the number of users since Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover.
