The rising star is doing extremely well in the Miami Open and recently defeated Sebastian Korda in straight sets.

He will be facing Hubert Hurkacz in the semi-final, his first ever in an ATP Masters 1000 tournament.

While Rublev will be keen on picking up another title in his career, there is a record he could break this year.

The Russian also held the record for the most ATP wins last year and was tied with Novak Djokovic.

The pair had 40 wins each last year and Rublev is currently leading the race for that crown. Rublev has 20 wins this year already and he is the first one to reach that.

Rublev also retweeted a post regarding the wins record and it will be interesting to see if the Russian is able to get the record for most wins this year on the ATP circuit.

The Russian is the next set of stars trying to get a Grand Slam title. The Next Gen have struggled to break the stranglehold that Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have had on the Grand Slams.
