Steven Gerrard takes Rangers to Celtic Park, hoping for a win that would keep the Gers’ hopes of a title challenge intact.
Defeat against Celtic on Sunday will effectively end Gerrard’s chances of winning silverware this season. Therefore, it’s a bigger game for Rangers than for Neil Lennon’s Celtic.
The Hoops, meanwhile, are ten points clear at the top of the table and will look to virtually wrap up the title with a victory over bitter rivals, Rangers.

Tavernier has improved a lot under Gerrard, adding a lot of discipline to his defensive side of the game. He will be expected to put in a skipper’s performance at Celtic.
Connor Goldson (CB)
He has been one of the consistent players at the back for Gerrard’s men. The Englishman is line to start against Celtic.
Nikola Katic (CB)
After a bright start to his career at Ibrox, Katic has lost his way. However, he will be given a chance to prove himself against Lennon’s Celtic.
Andy Halliday (LB)
With Barisic injured, Halliday is Gerrard’s go-to-man at left-back. Halliday has shown a lot of composure at left-back and will be tasked to keep the nippy Forrest at bay.
Ryan Jack (CDM)
Jack makes Rangers tick all over with his energy and ability to cover a lot of ground. He is expected to start at the base of the midfield trio.

The January recruit has done very well for the Gers, adding more bite and energy to the engine room.

With Arfield likely to miss the game, Davis will be given a nod for such a big game. His experience and leadership qualities could come handy as Rangers look to beat Celtic at the weekend.

Kent can be a real thorn for the Celtic defence as he is quick and an expert dribbler. He will look to make smart runs in behind the defenders to help the Gers get a positive result at Parkhead.
