Scott Steiner Career
Scott debuted under his real name in the Indianapolis -based World Wrestling Association in 1986 and defeated The Great Wojo for the WWA World Heavyweight Championship.
Rechsteiner represented many independent wrestling circuits like JCP, CWA, etc., before making their debut in WCW in 1989 under his name Scott Steiner.
In 1989, The Steiner Brothers defeated The Fabulous Freebirds for the NWA World Tag Team Championship, and they also went on to win the NWA United States Tag Team Championship against The Midnight Express.
Scott went on to win many championships in his time in WCW before it was bought by the WWF (now WWE), WCW World Television Championship, WCW World Heavyweight title.
The Steiner Brothers made their debut for WWF in 1993. Their first pay-per-view debut came at the Royal Rumble against The Beverly Brothers and then became the WWF World Tag-team Champions defeating the Money Inc.
Steiner Brothers left WWF in mid-1994, debuted in ECW, and won matches before returning to WCW and winning the World Tag Team Championship.
Scott joined the nWo at the SuperBrawl VIII by attacking his brother while defending the WCW World Tag Team Championship against The Outsiders.
Steiner returned to WWE after almost eight years at the Madison Square Garden on November 17. He won his first match against HHH. However, Steiner could not stay with WWE for too long as he got injured and was released in 2004.
Scott was also banned from attending the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony after Hogan’s wife accused him of accosting her at a San Jose airport. Hogan’s wife even said that he threatened to kill Hogan. But all these allegations were denied by Rechsteiner.
Scott Steiner then went on to play in Impact Wrestling, NWA, and various other independent circuits like CWI, WWC, etc. Steiner is a four-time World Champion in wrestling and eighth WCW Triple Crown Champion.
