Predicted Tottenham XI to face Wolves in the Premier League

Tottenham return to Premier League action as they square off against Wolves at the Molineux. Spurs have encountered a bit of a rough patch as they have suffered two consecutive losses in the league after being undone by Leicester and Liverpool. They have only won two of their last five games but none of them have come in the league.

Wolves too aren’t in the best of touches as they have lost 3 of their last 5 games. However, they can take heart from that fact that they have nicked two victories against Arsenal and Chelsea during that time. An exciting game can be expected as both sides have been unpredictable in recent games.

Team News

There will be a few injuries for Mourinho to navigate through. Japhet Tanganaga and Giovani Lo Celso are ruled out of the game with injuries. Meanwhile, Erik Lamela continues his recovery. Gareth Bale is also a doubt for the game.

Probable Tottenham XI vs Wolves

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Hugo Lloris (GK)

The French custodian will be a bit concerned with the lack of clean sheets in recent games but does remain their first choice.

Sergio Reguilon (LB)

Should replace Ben Davies for this one. First choice for the side now.

Eric Dier (CB)

Dier has now become a mainstay in defence. He has done well in that role so far.

Toby Alderweireld (CB)

Another player who was rested for the game but should return for this one.

Serge Aurier

Serge Aurier (RB)

The Ivorian gives the team more of a dangerous look than Doherty. Should start this one.

Moussa Sissoko (DM)

Was only a substitute in the last game but should start this one.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (DM)

Hard to point out any flaw in the former Southampton man’s game. Ever present in the team and will have a huge task to break down the opposition’s attacks.

Tanguy Ndombele (CAM)

Needs to improve on his showings to retain his place in the side but he should get the chance to start this game.

Heung-Min Son (LW)

Will be Spurs’ most important player again and needs to keep firing on all cylinders.

Steven Bergwijn (RW)

Bergwijn has somewhat made this spot his own and with Bale still searching for form, he continues to start.

Harry Kane (ST)

Quiet games for the talisman. Spurs will need him back at his best if they are to get back to winning ways.
