Predicted Tottenham XI to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League

Tottenham will now fully focus on their assault on the Premier League, with Crystal Palace as their next opponents. Spurs are fresh off a good Europa League group stage campaign, topping their group. They are on a great run, winning 3 of their last 5 games.

Palace on the other hand have had a mixed bit run, winning just two of their last five, but they did manage to swat aside West Brom 5-1 in their last game. A Spurs victory looks the most likely outcome given the form and quality of the away team.

Team News

Not a lot of injury problems for Mourinho to deal with as Erik Lamela is the only player ruled out with a foot injury.

Probable Tottenham XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Hugo Lloris (GK)

The veteran French custodian will resume his duties and is likely to continue starting given there is a stack of league games to come.

Sergio Reguilon (LB)

Should return to his full-back role after playing the last one at wing-back.

Eric Dier (CB)

Did not play any part in the last game but is expected to start this one.

Toby Alderweireld (CB)

Much like Dier, Alderweireld was given the day off in the last outing but should return here.

Matty Doherty (RB)

Serge Aurier’s participation remains a doubt, which means Doherty continues in his place.

Moussa Sissoko (DM)

Was only a substitute in the midweek game but will likely be afforded a start.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (DM)

The summer signing was given some much deserved rest after being excluded from the last game entirely. Should be fresh and raring to go again.

Tanguy Ndombele (CAM)

Ndombele didn’t play a big part in the last game but might just be thrown on from the start here.

Heung-Min Son (LW)

The South Korean has been one of their most important players this season and Mourinho will be hoping he continues in the same way.

Steven Bergwijn (RW)

With Bale still not looking his best, Bergwijn has done well to keep his place on the right.

Harry Kane (ST)

Spurs’ talisman, Harry Kane is in great form this season and has contributed goals at a rapid rate this season.
