Predicted Arsenal XI to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League

Arsenal will encounter Crystal Palace for their next Premier League assignment as they welcome the latter to the Emirates stadium. The Gunners have arrested their slump and are looking to turn their season around. With 4 wins from their last 5 games, it surely looks like they have turned a corner.

Palace, on the other hand, aren’t in the best of form, winning just one of their last 5 games. An Arsenal victory looks very likely here.

Team News

There are one or two players who are very likely to miss the trip to Brghton. Gabriel Martinelli is back in training but it remains to be seen if he’ll be involved. Thomas Partey and Gabriel Magalhaes are minor doubts for the game. Gabriel has recovered from COVID while Partey from his injury. There aren’t any suspensions for the game.

Probable Arsenal XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Bernd Leno (GK)

Leno has played almost all of their games this season and is expected to continue here too.

Kieran Tierney (LB)

Has been solid in his position through the season and adjusted well to any positional changes. Has shown real intent during this time.

Pablo Mari (CB)

Mari keeps his place in the side as one of the better defenders in the side.

Rob Holding (CB)

Holding has been a constant presence in the backline for the Gunners and is likely to continue after signing his new contract.

Hector Bellerin (RB)

Returns in place of Cedric after being rested for the FA Cup clash.

Dani Ceballos (DM)

With midfield options thin, Ceballos could well start this one.

Thomas Partey (DM)

Remains to be seen if Arteta thrusts him straight into the starting XI after his recovery.

Emile Smith Rowe (AM)

It seems Arsenal had the solution to their problems all along and that was Emile Smith Rowe. The youngster has been a breath of fresh air in the side.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (LW)

The captain is slowly getting back his confidence with some goals here and there.

Alexandre Lacazette (ST)

Even Lacazette is rediscovering some of his best form in an Arsenal shirt. The team will again look up to him for the goals.

Bukayo Saka (RW)

Another one of the youngsters who has impressed in Arsenal’s mini resurgence. Features on the right instead of his usual left.
