Predicted 4-1-4-1 Leeds XI to face Huddersfield – Can the Whites make it 5 wins in a row?

Leeds United Prediction: Probable XI to face Huddersfield Town

Leeds United will look to make it five wins on the bounce in the Championship when they clash with Huddersfield Town at Elland Road on Saturday.

The Whites sit five points clear of third-placed Fulham with just 10 games to go in the Championship. They have now gone five games unbeaten and have won their last four without conceding a single goal.

Following an emphatic 4-0 win over Hull City at the weekend, Marcelo Bielsa will want his side to continue their roll towards promotion with three points against Huddersfield, who come into this game on the back of a 4-0 success over Charlton.

Leeds United Prediction: Probable XI

Formation: 4-1-4-1

Illan Meslier (GK)

Meslier kept a clean sheet in his very first game of the season against Hull City last weekend. With Casilla banned, the young Frenchman will start against Huddersfield.

Luke Ayling (RB)

Ayling appears to have taken his game to another level this season and typifies a Marcelo Bielsa full-back. He is a certainty to keep his place in the starting XI on Saturday.

Ben White (CB)

White has been a vital part of Leeds’ bid to earn promotion to the Premier League this season. He’s played every single minute of the season and should start against Huddersfield.

Liam Cooper (CB)

Partnering White at the back will be Cooper and the duo will aim to keep a clean sheet at Elland Road.

Stuart Dallas (LB)

Dallas has been a consistent performer for Leeds United this season. He’s a certainty to retain his spot in Bielsa’s starting XI at the weekend.

Kalvin Phillips (CDM)

Phillips’ energy and industrious work in the middle of the park allow the Leeds attacking players to express themselves in the final third. He will start the game in the holding midfield role.

Helder Costa (RW)

An unpredictable and pacey wide-man, Costa will look to cause all kinds of problems to the Huddersfield defenders.

Pablo Hernandez (RCM)

The Spaniard has two goals and two assists in the last three matches. He’s very important for the Whites and deserves to start at the weekend.

Mateusz Klich (LCM)

Klich is the player that links Leeds’ midfield with attack. The Pole will start in an advanced role alongside Hernandez.
