Bayern Munich won the 2022 German Super Cup on Saturday their players celebrated like NBA star Stephen Curry.

For the tenth time, Bayern Munich has won the Super Cup. Munich players later copied NBA star Stephen Curry’s ‘Night Night’ celebration after the win. Curry did the now infamous celebration during the 2022 NBA playoffs and the NBA finals.

Sadio Mane, a Senegalese winger, signed by Bayern Munich, scored his debut goal in Leipzig’s Red Bull Arena. Bayern led 3-0 at halftime, with two goals from Jamal Musiala, Sadio Mane, and Benjamin Pavard. Marcel Halstenberg of RB Leipzig cut the deficit to two goals in the second half with a header. Serge Gnabry made it 4-1 in the 65th minute with a close-range drive into the top of the net. Christopher Nkunku scored a penalty kick in the 77th minute to make it 2-4. Near the game’s conclusion, Dani Olmo, a Spanish midfielder, placed pressure on Bayern Munich by scoring on a low shot to make it 3-4. Leipzig took chances in search of an equalizer. However, Bayern Munich sealed the victory in minute 98 when German sensation Leroy Sane scored a single-effort goal on a counterattack.

After hitting a dagger shot against the Denver Nuggets in the first round, he began using the sleeping potion. Curry last executed it against the Boston Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals, and he would repeat the position several times throughout the victory celebrations.

Sabrina Ionescu of the WNBA was the first athlete to perform the “night night” celebration after Curry. Ionescu, a guard for the New York Liberty, struck the stance after hitting a 3-pointer against the Atlanta Dream on 25th June. Curry even recognized her on Twitter, congratulating Ionescu on her selection as a starter in the WNBA All-Star game. “Begin a movement. Congratulations, All-Star starter “Curry wrote on Twitter.
