As the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have struggled to keep their players fit in the 2022-23 season, Mike Evans has emerged to be the top target of Tom Brady. Having ranked ninth in DVOA, Evans has registered 33 catches for over 450 yards and three TouchDowns over six games in the 2022-23 season.

However, things went haywire for the Bucs in Week 7 vs the Carolina Panthers when Mike Evans dropped one of easiest passes of all-time in the early stages. However, the 29-year-old wide receiver will be hoping to redeem himself against a star-studded Baltimore Ravens, who themselves haven’t been consistent in this season.

The Ravens haven’t been able to win close encounters and this would be the exact strategy how Bucs could end their losing drought against the Ravens.

Will Mike Evans feature in Week 8 encounter against Ravens?

Mike Evans has been struggling with an ankle injury throughout the 2022-23 season, and has been limited in the practice sessions but will be available in his team’s next encounter on Thursday Night against Lamar Jackson’ side.

Apart from Mike Evans – there are two other stars which everyone is keeping a close eye on. Russell Gage who has dealing with hamstring issues will not play a part in this spoken off contest. On the other hand, Julio Jones, who was acquired by the Bucs in this offseason itself, remains to be a game-time decision. But since he was spotted in the training session on Tuesday and Wednesday, many expect the veteran WR to put on the jersey and make his third appearance of the current season.

Will Mike Evans be able to redeem himself by securing a win for the 2020 Super Bowl Champs in Week 8? More importantly will Brady’s side be able to bring their team on track? Remains to be seen.
