Tampa Bay Buccaneers are surely not in their best form out of moment as they are scheduled to lock horns against Baltimore Ravens in Week 8. Having dropped 3 of their last 4 games, it seems like whether or not Julio Jones will play, might be a game-time decision for the 2020 Super Bowl Champs.

When Julio Jones was acquired by the Bucs in this offseason, many expected their offense to blossom in every game this team steps on the court. However after the inaugural week where the Bucs got the better of Dak Prescott and his Dallas Cowboys, Jones has been struggling with his knee and has played sparingly since.

Given that the Bucs have dropped two consecutive games, Julio Jones has still been listed ‘questionable’ as we talk. He missed the entire practice session on Monday, but was a limited participant on Tuesday and the next day as well.

Julio Jones could feature in Bucs’ Week 8 showdown

By the looks of it, there seems to be quite high chances of Julio Jones making his third appearance of the 2022-23 season against the Baltimore Ravens.

If teams hang tight until the last moments against Lamar Jackson and co. they have often managed to get the better of them. Safe would be the plan of Tampa Bay, who are well beneath their top form.

Julio Jones would not be at his sheer best, but this is the time for his to step up as the Bucs are desperate to register win and catch upto the pace of the league. Especially after fellow Wide Receiver – Russell Gage already ruled out because of a hamstring injury, there’s a chance Jones plays most of his snaps in the slot against a susceptible Ravens’ secondary. Could this be the boost Brady can use to his advantage to swing the momentum in favor of his team? Remains to be seen.
