Arizona Cardinals’ defensive end – JJ Watt took to his social media to make fans aware about his health status. As per his latest information provided, Watt went into atrial fibrillation, which is an irregular and often very rapid heart rate.

Moreover, the three-time defensive player of the year announced the news in a tweet prior to the game of his team against the Carolina Panthers. How remarkable it is to acknowledge the contribution of JJ Watt for his team in that particular 26-16 victory. It comes to be known that just days prior, the Cardinals’ marquee was in the hospital when fears of heart issues arose. 

JJ Watt wrote in his tweet, “I was just told somebody leaked some personal information about me and it’s going to be reported on today. I went into A-Fib on Wednesday, had my heart shocked back into rhythm on Thursday and I’m playing today.” 

JJ Watt returned to game-action for Arizona Cardinals vs Carolina Panthers 

Because of this particular incident, the legendary defensive end did not practice for consecutive days. Prior to the game-action, he was listed as injured stating calf issues. However, three days later, JJ Watt was able to suit up for his team and recorded three tackles, inspiring his team to the victory line against the unpredictable Carolina Panthers. 

To those who are not aware, it is JJ Watt’s second season with the Arizona Cardinals. He went Houston Texans previously, wherein he played 10 seasons. It is not the first time; Watt has been taken to the hospital. The 33-year-old has dealt with major injuries in the past. Yet has managed to always rank amongst the best defensive linesman in modern-day league. 

The question remains now whether or not JJ Watt will be allowed to contest in the coming showdowns for the Arizona Cardinals? Remains to be seen as the footballing drama continues.
