“Seahawks knew Russ was on the decline” – Nick Wright believes the Seattle Seahawks made a smart decision of trading Russell Wilson to the Broncos

It is indeed safe to urge that veteran Quarterback – Russell Wilson hasn’t lived up to his price tag and hype while playing for Denver Broncos in the 2022-23 NFL Season. He has not only well below his standards, but his performances have also failed to even inspire his own teammates, and the recent 2-game slump for the Broncos indicate just that.

With no TouchDowns, and 2 interceptions in the team’s most recent game vs Indianapolis Colts on Thursday night, managed to degrade the graph of Russell Wilson for Broncos’ fans even further. Moreover, sports media personality – Nick Wright stated how Seattle Seahawks have made the full use of their Quarterback to get the best possible purse.

Wright tweeted, “I’ve been saying that the Seahawks knew Russ (Russell Wilson) was on the decline for 6 months. I was extremely skeptical of the Broncos as even a playoff team, let alone a contender. And even I couldn’t have imagined Russ & the offense would look this abysmal. This is just unbelievable.”

Nick Wright got brutally honest on Seahawks trading Russell Wilson

The Seattle Seahawks faced heavy criticism when they dropped one of the biggest bombs in franchise history by trading Russell Wilson. Especially after the success and upward trajectory they have experienced with the Quarterback, it indeed seemed shocking.

However, all the critics are proving to land on the wrong side as Wilson seems abysmal, to say the least for his team. Just like KJ Humler, it seems like everyone is disappointed with the 33-year-old’s leadership and performance.

That being said Denver Broncos will be locking horns against Los Angeles Chargers. Having dropped 2 consecutive games, the team will be desperate to register a win. Will Russell Wilson finally spread his magic on the field? Remains to be an interesting story to witness.
