Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni has full trust on Jalen Hurts to carry the franchise ahead.

Jalen Hurts in his second season in the league showed a lot of promise and helped to take his team to the playoffs. It was considered a good achievement for a young team like the Eagles.

However, in the playoffs, The Eagles came up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers led by Tom Brady and were outplayed massively. Jalen Hurts also didn’t perform well in that game which led some people to raise their eyebrows as to whether or not he is the right man to carry this franchise ahead.

It was a very big stage for a team like the Eagles, consisting of many young players, and when you are up against the defending champions, such a result was expected.

Speaking about Jalen, his head coach Nick Sirianni came into his defense and said, “He led us to the playoffs and obviously we want to go further than that and we’re really confident that Jalen is the guy that can help us do that,”

Nick Sirianni further complimented his quarterback and said,  “There’s no question that Jalen Hurts has the arm strength to make all the throws and ability to create, whether it’s with his legs in the run game or maneuvering in the pocket to buy more time for his playmakers. The other two elements will improve, with more experience.

He further talked about Jalen Hurts’ progress and said, He just continues to get better whether that’s from Alabama to Oklahoma, or Oklahoma to his first year in the NFL, or the first year to the second year, We just know that progression is going to continue and it’s because of the person he is and that he loves football. The guy loves football and he’s just willing to do the things that he needs to do to get better and that’s why he does continue to get better.”

The head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles and the management of the franchise have full trust in Jalen to carry this franchise ahead. And hopefully, by what we have seen so far in his career, he might just be the man to take this franchise to the promised land.
