“Might be late to the party, but I think Pats got a new QB in Zappe”- Shannon Sharpe believes Mac Jones is no longer QB1 for the Patriots

Mac Jones has been able to live up to his hype in the 2022-23 season. On the other hand, rookie Bailey Zappe has been impressive ever since he has replaced the former QB. To those who are unaware Zappe won his first two starts as a replacement for injured Jones. He then, went onto replace him in the first half against the Chicago Bears.

Mac Jones has been at his 100% healthy, he has missed three games with a high ankle sprain. Now, when he returned on the field, Mac Jones had to face the wrath of the fans as they kept chanting for Bailey Zappe to come out. To make things more interesting the rookie Quarterback even came out with 12 minutes left in the second quarter in the team’s latest game.

This has made former NFL star and Hall of Famer – Shannon Sharpe be sure on his claim that Mac Jones is no longer the #1 QB for the New England Patriots as the team and its fan are eager to witness the young and blazing Zappe in action.
