The veteran quarterback Matt Ryan who spent 14 years at the Atlanta Falcons is heading off to the Indianapolis Colts for the next season via trade in which the Falcons will receive a 3rd round pick from the Colts.

Matt Ryan

Matt who was one of the best quarterbacks in the league during his peak will be a good addition for the Indianapolis Colts as they needed a new quarterback after the departure of Carson Wentz to the Washington Commanders.

The Colts have a very good squad and just need a good quarterback who can lead them in order to contend for the Super Bowl. Last year the Colts were looking really solid before their collapse against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the last game of the regular season which knocked them out of the playoff contention.

Carson Wentz who was the quarterback of the Colts last season had a nightmare of a game against the Jaguars. It brought all the scrutiny over him and his exit from the Colts was inevitable after that inexcusable performance.

Matt Ryan is a well experienced quarterback who knows how to play in big games and can certainly lead this team to success in this season.

Can the Colts contend next season with the inclusion of Matt Ryan?

The Indianapolis Colts certainly got better with the inclusion of Matty ‘ICE’ Ryan in their team as he will be able to cover up the flaws that Carson Wentz had in his game.

Jonathan Taylor

Their star running back Jonathan Taylor is a stud. He was an MVP candidate last season and will certainly thrive with a quarterback who can throw well. The Colts will become a double threat team and Jonathan Taylor can surprise many teams with his burst on the field while carrying the ball.

Colts have a very good all-round squad and if a quarterback is decent enough for them, then they can surely be on one of the best teams in the NFL next season.
