Odell Beckham Jr. is strongly pursued by the Green Bay Packers, and many other teams also as he edges closer to his return.

Odell Beckham Jr. is still a free agent as he continues to make his way back to full health after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) during the Super Bowl last year while playing for the Los Angeles Rams against the Cincinnati Bengals. OBJ had a significant impact during his time with the Los Angeles Rams in the previous season, and many teams are going to be interested in signing him once he is healthy again.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, and Los Angeles Rams are among the teams that have expressed interest in signing OBJ, but it will be difficult for any of those teams to acquire the services of the outstanding wide receiver.

Aaron Rodgers is desperate to get a veteran receiver on his team, and the Green Bay Packers’ struggles have been quite evident on the field so far this season. As a result, the Green Bay Packers have a strong interest in getting Odell Beckham Jr.

However, former Packers receiver Greg Jennings believes if OBJ signs with the Packers, he will be under a lot of pressure. He claimed that the situation will be different from what he had in Los Angeles last season, and due to it, he might avoid going there.

Greg Jennings said, “Okay, so here’s my thing on OBJ like it, would he provide a boost? Yes. If you’re going to get the obj that we saw in the Super Bowl that the Rams were privy to having? Yes, absolutely. However, that was alongside Cooper Kupp, he was not expected. Nor was he a number one guy.”

Greg Jennings highlighted the factor that OBJ will play without Cooper Kupp if he signs with the Packers and that won’t be an easy transition for him after returning from such a serious injury.

Greg Jennings further said, “And if you go to Green Bay, I don’t care who you who they have on their roster right now. We don’t look at them as a number one a true number one, but the expectation because of optics, what we know of OBJ what his talent has provided and suggests we would consider him to be that number one guy.”

He added, “I don’t know if he’s ready to step into that role. And the expectations would be that he would become the guy automatically this is Odell Beckham Jr. Do what you’ve always done and I don’t know if that’s the road that would best suit him.”

Getting Odell Beckham Jr. to Green Bay won’t be an easy task at all for the franchise as many other contending teams who are in a better position than the Packers are also pursuing the former Rams receiver.

However, if the Packers are willing to pay OBJ more than the other teams then he might come to play for them but at this point it is highly unlikely that he will sign with the struggling Packers.

Currently, the Bills, the Rams, and the Chiefs are the teams that will be highest on OBJ’s radar due to various obvious reasons. He knows the system in LA, and that benefits him while the Bills and the Chiefs are arguably the best teams in the NFL, and signing with them will give Odell an opportunity to win another Super Bowl.
