NBA star Bryn Forbes was arrested earlier on Wednesday due to a family violence charge. The arrest took place in San Antonio and Forbes was arrested for hitting his girlfriend Elsa Jean, who is also a former adult actress.
According to sources, Forbes was arrested on suspicion of assault with bodily injury, a misdemeanor; after a verbal argument with his girlfriend Elsa Jean turned into physical violence.
Sources also confirm that Forbes was arrested around 5 a.m. on Wednesday morning at a residence in north-central San Antonio. Subsequently, Forbes was taken to the Bexar County Jail, where bail had not been initially set. Later, the bail was adjusted to $2,500, according to 1200 WOAI-AM.
Furthermore, police reports say that Forbes had an argument with Elsa Jean before hitting her several times. The argument happened after the couple arrived home from La Cantera Resort & Spa, according to the report.
After the physical assault was done by Forbes, the San Antonio Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Services responded to help 26-year-old Elsa Jean, sources confirmed. Sources also said that Elsa Jean had been living with the NBA player for ‘several months’ now.
According to San Antonio Police, the case still remains under investigation.

Currently, Bryn Forbes is an NBA free agent because he was released by the Minnesota Timberwolves last week. Also, Forbes has played for four NBA teams over seven seasons.
29-year-old Bryn Forbes is a father of two children and has played seven seasons in the NBA after initially going undrafted in 2016. Before playing in the NBA, Forbes played at Cleveland State University and Michigan State University.
After going undrafted, Forbes played his first four seasons with the San Antonio Spurs after signing as a free agent. Next, he signed with Milwaukee Bucks as a free agent in 2021 but returned to the Spurs just a year later. However, during his second tenure with the Spurs, Forbes was traded to the Denver Nuggets midway through that season.
Subsequently, Forbes signed with Minnesota Timberwolves in July as a free agent, but the Timberwolves waived him last week to clear a roster spot after acquiring Mike Conley Jr. and Nickeil Alexander-Walker in a trade that sent D’Angelo Russell to the Los Angeles Lakers.
