Shaquille O’Neal is widely regarded as one of the best basketball players ever, and is often in the conversation for one of the best centers of all time.

The four-time NBA champion and the former MVP was known for being good at a lot of things – especially combining his size, speed and strength that made him such a feared opponent – but “Woo”-ing like Ric Flair is not one of them.

This is a throwback to the time when Shaquille O’Neal struggled to “Woo” like Ric Flair on the eve of the pro wrestling legend’s last ever match in the ring. The Big Aristotle was in attendance to watch the Nature Boy in action for the very last time ever after a legendary career in the squared circle, and willingly gave a candid interview on his favourite pro wrestlers of all time.

When asked about his favourite pro wrestlers of all time, Shaq – known as a very big fan of pro wrestling – came up with a plethora of names. When the interviewer prompted him about Ric Flair, Shaq came up with an inadvertent “Woo!” before doggedly saying that he does not have the vocal range to produce the exact pitched version of the Nature Boy’s iconic catchphrase.

Who else did Shaquille O’Neal name in his Mount Rushmore of pro wrestling?

Being a well-known fan of pro wrestling, Shaquille O’Neal named an incredibly decorated lineup of legends of the sport.

When asked about his favourite pro wrestlers of all time, Shaq started off by saying that it is impossible to name every one of his favourites as he does not want to disrespect the people he would miss out on.

However, Shaq stated the likes of Hulk Hogan, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka and the Undertaker – showing the side of him that is a fanatic of pro wrestling. Shaq has previously wrestled on WWE – most recently in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal in WrestleMania 32 – and would certainly do a great job in the squared circle himself.
