LeBron James looks ready to dominate the league as a video he posted of a practice dunk earlier this week goes viral

A video from a Los Angeles Lakers practice session showing a LeBron James practice dunk has gone viral. LeBron shared the video earlier this week and it has amassed more than 1.5 million views. This one-handed LeBron James practice dunk shows that he is ready for the new NBA season.

Several people commented on the video as well saying that rather than age, LeBron is turning back time. James is gearing up for the 2022-23 NBA season and looks set to have another fantastic year ahead of him.

LeBron is looking to prove something this year after the Lakers endured a disappointing 2021-22 NBA season. Last year the Los Angeles Lakers missed the playoffs. LeBron James nearly single-handedly carried the Lakers to a place in the Play-In Tournament but just fell short.

Anthony Davis missed more than half the season with injury and the team didn’t do enough to support LeBron. This year Davis will be back and hoping to stay fit and healthy.

What do the Lakers have to improve this season?

The most glaring issue for the Los Angeles Lakers last season was defense. The Lakers allowed the third most points in the NBA last season at 9442 points. The absence of Anthony Davis played a large part in that along with poor defensive schemes.

With new Head Coach Darvin Ham being brought in to improve defense, that issue might be solved this year. In addition to that, the Lakers need better bench depth for when James and Davis are off the court. The Lakers have signed Dennis Schroeder in a low-risk free agency move. This will improve depth but not completely solve the issue.

The last issue that the Lakers will struggle with this season is 3-point shooting. There is a clear lack of 3-point shooters in the Lakers lineup. Patrick Beverley and Russell Westbrook are going to play a lot of minutes and neither of them is known for their shooting. In addition to this, Davis struggled with his 3-pointers last season.
