Kevin Durant said he’s getting old in a hilarious response to rookie Christian Koloko wearing number 35 in his honour

Earlier this year, Toronto Raptors rookie Christian Koloko said that he wears number 35 in honour of Kevin Durant. When asked about this in an interview, Durant hilariously responded by saying that this shows that he’s getting old.

Durant also said that he’s happy that he’s positively influenced someone. He said that you never know who’s watching and you want to inspire people in some way, shape or form.

At the end of the clip, Durant said that it was cool seeing Koloko wearing number 35 and Durant’s shoes. It’s always nice to see rookie NBA players who have been inspired by current stars.

Durant has started rather well and is averaging 29.5 points, 4 assists and 4 rebounds over 2 games this season. The Brooklyn Nets have won 1 and lost 1 in that same span and are looking a little rusty. The Nets will have to get it together to have any chance at winning a championship.

Will Kevin Durant help Brooklyn Nets win the NBA Championship this year?

Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have to be healthy for the Brooklyn Nets to win an NBA Championship. If the Nets miss Durant or Irving for long periods, they will have another difficult season. Without one of Irving or Durant, the Nets won’t have enough firepower to beat top contenders.

In addition to this, the Eastern Conference is looking more competitive by the day. The Brooklyn Nets will not want to find themselves in the Play-In Tournament come playoff time. It’ll be interesting to see Ben Simmons’ fit with the Nets roster and what role he has as a scorer.

The NBA Championship race is going to be very exciting and injuries will make or break the Brooklyn Nets season. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving will need to play their best basketball to win the Championship this year.
