Curry is a four time NBA champion, a two time MVP winner including a regular season MVP, as well as a Finals’ MVP winner – and to add on top of his extraordinary resume, the Golden State Warriors superstar is also an author now – after he recently published his book.
Curry recently released his book titled “I have a superpower” from publishers Penguin Books, a publication that has won the hearts of plenty of people all around the world.
The book is essentially a children’s book that Stephen Curry wrote with his own kids in mind – but it also serves a purpose that extends to the bigger picture, the young generation of kids worldwide. Curry took to his Twitter to post about his new book, a tweet that has since gone viral online.
A proud Curry tweeted on his account: “Proud to announce my first kids’ book “I Have a Superpower” is now out!! Our first book from #UnanimousMedia. S/o to @penguinkids for helping us get this out to the world. You don’t have to be perfect, just be the best version of yourself.”
What did Curry and his fans have to say about the book?
When asked that what does he want the young people to get out of “I have a superpower”, Curry said: “We’re all unique and we all have something to offer the world.“
“And if you have a work ethic, if you have a belief and you feel like whatever that requires is already inside of you, then good things will happen,” added the four-time champion.
Talking about his intent for writing the book, Curry said: “You kind of have your kids in mind when you’re talking about a book, and then you realize that this is kind of a universal opportunity to reach the next generation.”
The book was received very warmly by the fans, some of whom told Curry that what he is doing with his new book is “beyond commendable” and will inspire a lot of kids.
The reigning NBA champion and the reigning Finals’ MVP is an inspirational figure all over the world for his revolutionary basketball career, and his book will certainly inspire the next generation.
