Skip Bayless has aimed shots at LeBron James after Russell Westbrook scored a season-high tally in the Los Angeles Lakers’ latest loss to the Utah Jazz.

The Los Angeles Lakers failed to win their third game in a row as they succumbed to the Utah Jazz in their latest game at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Friday night. The Lakers who seemed to have turned their fortunes around with two wins after losing five consecutive games, have lost again as they went down 116-130 to the Utah Jazz in their latest defeat.

Fresh off their first win of the season and an inspirational overtime victory to follow that, the Los Angeles Lakers were looking to win their third game on the bounce but despite their best efforts – they fell to a defeat. But as it turns out, one of their only shining beacons of light in the defeat was their man off the bench once again – as Russell Westbrook had yet another good display.

Westbrook has really taken well to his new role off the bench for the Lakers, and it was his best performance of the season as he scored the most points for the Lakers in the defeat. Westbrook racked up 26 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists, even having a good shooting night – the former MVP completed 9 out of his 14 attempted field goals including 3 out of 5 three-pointers.

On the other hand, their talisman LeBron continued to be off his best – and Skip Bayless did not leave the chance to take shots at him.

What did Skip Bayless have to say about LeBron James’ performance?

Skip ripped into LeBron for his below-par performance.

The NBA analyst took to his Twitter account to talk about his thoughts on the game, and even though he shouted Westbrook out for a season-high performance, he ripped into LeBron for the Lakers losing the game. Bayless wrote: “Russell Westbench played great, with a game-high 28 off the bench. Yet … the Lakers still lost by 14. It’s still all about LeBron.”

LeBron will certainly hope to turn his form around as the Lakers look to return to winning ways.
