Shaq O’Neal have given the push to Luka Doncic for his amazing stats during the previous six games

Shaquille O’Neal has supported Luka Doncic for a very long time and has even spent time with him in his hometown. Luka Doncic told O’Neal on “NBA on TNT” that he just likes to wait for the game to come to him: “Just trying to win the game and like you said, ‘Let the game come to you.”

The Dallas Mavericks’ Luka Doncic has been absolutely dominant this year, and he has a real shot at winning the MVP award. Fans have enjoyed watching what he has been willing to do on both ends of the court, particularly improving his defence.

However, few NBA players can match what Doncic accomplishes on the attacking side of the court. Currently averaging 34.3 points per game and shooting an astounding 50.7%, he leads the NBA in scoring.

Bond between Shaq O’Neal and Luka Doncic

Shaquille O’Neal commended Doncic for his hospitality when they were hanging out. “When I arrived at Luka’s town, some people picked me up. They drove me to a mansion that Luka had set up for me…They escorted me to the show, and then Luka said, ‘Shaq, nothing’s gonna happen to you in my town, Mr. O’Nealovich’.” There was a moment before Shaquille O’Neal and Luka Doncic became friends when Shaq didn’t necessarily think Luka was as terrific as many people stated.

Shaq acknowledged Doncic’s talent but advised him to start slowing down a bit because many other players in the league could perform the same feats. O’Neal has acknowledged that he was mistaken. “I just said calm it down a notch. That’s all I said, He’s great but I’ve seen it before,” In response to Charles Barkley’s claim that Shaq was enraged by their celebration, O’Neal replied.
