Luka Doncic blatantly buries to rank LeBron James in the All-Time NBA list

Luka Doncic and LeBron James are undeniably two of the greatest basketball players in the 2022-23 season. While both of them are leading their franchise, Slovenian International could potentially be the heir of James when the latter hangs up his boots. Not only that the 23-year-old guard has infinite respect for his childhood idol as well as he refused to rank him in the All-Time NBA list to give rise to any controversy.

Doncic refused to rank not only LeBron but even to participate in any such ranking procedure. The Dallas Mavericks star simply enjoys watching the greatest basketball players of all time, which includes LeBron James.

“I’m not doing the rankings stuff, man. I just enjoy great basketball players. That’s it. He’s an amazing player, an exceptional player, but I’m not doing the rankings stuff,” Doncic said as per Grant Afseth of Dallas Basketball.

In Luka Doncic’s defense, there are tons of great players he has never faced or competed against, so probably a biased take is something the Slovenian was not in favor of giving. Known as the baby-faced assassin, Doncic has nothing but respect and admiration for Lebron, and he doesn’t shy away from showing it on every occasion.

The same can be said for Kin James as well, the 38-year-old veteran had nothing but good words to say for Luka Doncic after he carried the Mavericks to the double-overtime victory on Thursday, noting that, “Big-time players make big-time shots. It’s that simple.”
