James Harden will be receiving a significant pay cut for the upcoming season as a result of signing a new two-year contract with the Philadelphia 76ers. In year two of the contract, Harden now has a new player option after opting not to activate his $47 million player option.

He said, “I couldn’t be happier with James’ decision to commit to our organization. Over the last two years we have taken major steps toward our ultimate goal of becoming champions. James shares our drive to win a title.”
