James Harden is showing glimpses of his best form in back-to-back 30-point outings for the Philadelphia 76ers

James Harden looks to be back to MVP form as the Philadelphia 76ers guard dropped 30+ points in consecutive games. Harden has had a tough time since being traded from the Houston Rockets and looked a shell of himself.

Many fans and analysts said that Harden had lost a step after being traded to the Brooklyn Nets. Harden has proved all haters wrong by starting the season with two back-to-back 30-point outings.

In the season opener, Harden had 35 points, 7 assists and 8 rebounds in a 126-117 loss against the Boston Celtics. In the second game of the season, Harden had 31 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds in a 90-88 loss against the Milwaukee Bucks.

This is a great start for James Harden and the only thing left is for the 76ers to start winning. Although the 76ers have lost their first two games of the season, it’s been an encouraging start for James Harden. Harden has got his scoring touch back while retaining his elite playmaking.

Will James Harden win MVP this season?

If James Harden continues playing this way, he’ll have a chance to win the Most Valuable Player award. The only caveat is that the 76ers will need a great regular season for Harden to win MVP. Harden may win MVP if the 76ers finish with the top seed and Harden leads the 76ers in scoring.

But this scenario looks extremely unlikely with perennial MVP-contender Joel Embiid as a teammate. Embiid has had a decent start to the season and is only going to get better. This will put a rather unceremonious halt to Harden’s chance of winning the award.

The Philadelphia 76ers are going to have a great season and it doesn’t matter if Harden doesn’t win the MVP. The biggest aim for the 76ers will be to compete for the NBA Championship.
