One of the most prolific scorers in the NBA, and one of the league’s greatest-ever shooting guards, James Harden was born on August 26, 1986. After spending a large part of his career with the Houston Rockets, he switched to the Brooklyn Nets before moving to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Despite his individual brilliance, James Harden hasn’t had ‘championship-level’ success with the teams he has played with.
His only NBA finals appearance came way back in 2012, when he was with Oklahoma City Thunder. OKC took on a fiery Miami Heat which had a prime Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in its lineup.
OKC made a brilliant start as they won the first match quite easily. But then Heat came back like a phoenix, winning all their next 4 matches, taking the finals 4-1.
Harden, then switched to the Houston Rockets the next year. Despite pouring his heart out for the team, they never made it to the final.
However, his individual brilliance was rewarded in the 2017-18 season after he scored like a man-possessed game after game. In January 2018, the Rockets faced Orlando Magic, and Harden became the first player in NBA history to score 60 points as part of a triple-double, as they won the game 114-107.
In June 2018, Harden was voted the MVP of the season. That was the first time in 24 years, a player from Houston Rockets won the award.
The following years were pretty average for Harden. In 2021, he moved to the Brooklyn Nets. A short stay came to an end when he moved to the Philadelphia 76ers the following year.
