Nikola Jokic wants the Houston Rockets to play through Alperen Sengun a bit more to improve their offense.

Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets recently got the better of the Houston Rockets but the highlight of that game was the battle between Nikola Jokic and Aleperen Sengun.
Sengun was drafted by the Houston Rockets and he came into the NBA after winning the MVP of the Turkish League. He has looked quite good this season, and many believe he is the next Nikola Jokic. Jokic has also urged the Houston Rockets to involve Sengun more in their offense as he is an excellent playmaker.
Speaking about Sengun, Nikola Jokic said, “I think they should play through him more. Because sometimes they seem too stagnant as a team. Especially when they focus on shooting a lot of threes.”
Sengun has averaged 15.4 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 17 games this season. He averaged 9.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in 72 games in his rookie season in 2021-22.
The future is certainly bright in Houston with the likes of Jalen Green, Jabari Smith, and Alperen Sengun leading from the front. Rockets fans will certainly hope that Sengun will become a player like Nikola Jokic in the future.
