Since entering the NBA season of 2013-14 Giannis came into the limelight with his aggressive gameplay and his dominating body size. Giannis made his way into the NBA draft in the year 2013 and was finally picked up as the 15th overall draft pick by the Milwaukee Bucks. He later signed his rookie contract with the Bucks scheduled on July 30, 2013.

Just after 2 months in the month of October, he stepped up on the court as one of the youngest players ever aged 18 years and 311 days. In his rookie season, he averaged 6.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.8 blocks in a total of 77 appearances. He ended his season with 61 blocks leading all the NBA rookies and seventh-most by any Bucks rookie in history and till the end of the season the 7ft was able to make it to NBA All-Star Rookie Second Team

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Way Towards First Championship Trophy

2018 to 2020 termed out as golden years for “Greek Freak”. Antetokounmpo emerged as the NBA Most Valuable Player in both seasons namely 2018-19 and 2019-20, not only this but also Giannis was able to grab the Defensive Player Of The Year award making him only the third player after Jordan and Olajuwon to make it happen.

After extending their contract with the Bucks, Giannis took the side to their first championship trophy after fifty years coming back from 0-2 to 4-2 and beating down Phoenix Suns in the Finals with him being at the top for the side and earning the Finals MVP title.
