Devin Booker led the way for the Suns as he dropped 35 points in what was a very big game for both teams as this could have been a potential preview to the NBA Finals this season.
Booker’s ability to shine in big matches has been the major factor for the success of the Suns over the past two seasons as they always find a way to get the job done in clutch situations.
After this win, the Phoenix Suns are now 61-14 and sit firmly at the 1st seed in the West with high hopes of a Championship run come playoff time.
Devin Booker’s MVP case is getting stronger day by day and it will be interesting to see where he ends up at the end of the regular season, with only 7 games left to play before the commencement of the playoffs.
James Harden disappoints again in another big match
James Harden’s ability to disappoint in big matches where stakes are high is continuing at Philadelphia as he once again had a terrible game against the best team in the league.
Harden scored an abysmal 14 points where he shot 2/11 from the field in a game where he needed to step up and show the world that he can be great in big matches also but once again he failed to do so.
His co-star, on the other hand, Joel Embiid had a very good game as he dominated the Suns. And kept the 76ers within touching distance and dropped 37 points while also recording 15 rebounds.
Embiid is one of the frontrunners of the MVP Award this season. Performances like these will surely help his case to win the 1st MVP Award of his career.
