The Memphis Grizzlies came down twice from big deficits to take down the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 3rd game of their ongoing series in the 1st round of the Western Conference Playoffs.

Desmond Bane was the star of the show, as he scored a game-high 26 points, in which he knocked down 7 three-pointers that were crucial for the run that the Grizzlies made to overcome such a large deficit.

This was a big win for the Memphis Grizzlies, as they now lead the series 2-1. Notably, they now have won a game at the homecourt of the Timberwolves. Grizzlies suffered a shocking defeat in the first game of the series, which raised the eyebrows of many people.

However, this young team has managed to bounce back spectacularly just as they did throughout the season. The focus now shifts onto the 4th game of the series, and if the Grizzlies can win that game, then it might be wrapped for the Timberwolves.

Karl Anthony Towns struggles once again in the loss to the Grizzlies

Apart from the 1st game of this series, the best player on the Minnesota team Karl Anthony Towns has struggled massively. Unsurprisingly, his struggles have contributed to the losses of his team.

KAT scored a mere total of 8 points in a game of such high magnitude, and it was a shambolic performance by him. The Minnesota Timberwolves were up by 20 points twice in the game, and they still managed to lose it at their home court.

It will be interesting to see how KAT and the Wolves bounce back from this disappointing performance, and if they don’t win the 4th game of the series, then there is a high possibility of the series ending in 5 games.
