3-time NBA Champion urges LA Lakers to make moves for Buddy Hield and Myles Turner

The Los Angeles Lakers have won 5-game in a row for the first time in the 2022-23 season. While many fans think it is because of the current set of players’ chemistry working on the court, 3-time NBA Champ and former Laker – Rick Fox thinks it’s the right time to make moves for Buddy Hield and Myles Turner.

While Buddy Hield can evidently increase LA Lakers’ numbers and efficiency rate from behind the arc, Hield’s inclusion in the side could be the dream opportunity to for stars like Thomas Bryant and Russell Westbrook, who can get more opportunities of hunting the ball around the rim.

However, since Anthony Davis’ absence, Thomas Bryant has taken the center stage for the Purple and Gold. The latter big man has not only dropped big numbers, but his versatility in scoring and dominance in rebounding has given LeBron James more freedom to get into a 2-way play with him.

Rick Fox on Lakers trading Buddy Hield and Myles Turner

On Twitter, Former Laker Rick Fox, a 3x Champion, suggested that the Lakers should take another look at Buddy Hield and Myles Turner instead of letting LeBron and this team fend for themselves. He wrote, “With @KingJames playing at his usual GOAT level even at 38 imagine if Myles Turner and @buddyhield were @Lakers we appreciate you Thomas Bryant Let’s Get @AntDavis23 backs and get this 2023.”

Fox mentioned how well Bryant has been playing, especially when the Lakers were so desperate for a big man to perform well. However, it does not seem likely for any team to add Myles Turner alongside Thomas Bryant with Anthony Davis being weeks away from making a return. Moreover, Wenyen Gabriel has been performing well, putting forward his claim on why he should be able to reserve a seat in the roster.
