Who is Annie Ilonzeh?
Born August 23, 1983, in Grapevine, Texas, USA, Annie Ilonzeh is the daughter of Christian Ostita Ilonzeh and Annette Louise. Needless to say, 39-year-old Annie spent her childhood and grew up in Grapevine, Texas. She is known to attend Colleyville Heritage High School in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Colleyville.
Annie’s mother, Annette Louise, is half Polish, half English, and of American descent. Annie’s father, Christian Ostita Ilonzeh, is of Nigerian descent.
Notably, she also has four siblings named Christina Ilonzeh, Emily Ilonzeh, Jenifer Ilonzeh, and Laura Ilonzeh.
Sadly, apart from this, nothing much is known about Annie’s personal life.
Annie Ilonzeh Career
In 2007, Annie Ilonzeh made her acting debut with a cameo in the popular TV sitcom “How I Met Your Mother.” She portrayed Becky, a character who knew the main character Barney Stinson and was a female gym rat.
After her appearance on “How I Met Your Mother,” several new opportunities for the aspiring actor began to present themselves. In 2009, Annie made her debut in the film “He’s Just Not That Into You.” In later films like “Miss March” and “Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief,” she would play similar parts.
She played a number of smaller roles before landing her breakthrough role in 2011. As one of the Angels, Ilonzeh won the lead part in the “Charlie’s Angels” television revival. Despite the cancellation of the show, Ilonzeh was still able to establish her value in the movie business.
In 2017, Annie advanced her career by securing yet another significant role, this time in a film. In the biographical drama ‘All Eyez on Me’, she plays ‘Kidada Jones’.
Right now, Ilonzeh is one of the key actors in the TV show “The Lower Bottoms”. She played ‘Beulah Rhodes’ in five of the show’s seven episodes.
