Los Angeles Clippers superstar Kawhi Leonard missed the entire last season due to the ACL injury that suffered after his knee collided with Joe Ingles of the Utah Jazz in the playoffs prior to the last season. Due to that collision, Leonard missed the Western Conference Finals as well where the Clippers lost to the Phoenix Suns, and had Leonard been healthy, the Clippers might have won their first-ever championship in franchise history.

Now Kawhi Leonard is back healthy and has started playing well. He is still on minutes restrictions, and it will take some time for him to get back to his normal playing time, but he has looked pretty good so far. The Clippers need Kawhi Leonard healthy for the playoffs, and by then he will be ready to get the third championship of his career.

Recently Marcus Morris spoke about the injury of Leonard and how gutted he was to see him going down in the playoffs against the Jazz. Morris believes that the play made by Joe Ingles was a dirty play, and the injury would have been avoided.

Speaking about it, Morris said, “For him to go out in such a — I felt like it was a cheap shot but, you know, such a cheap manner. I think that’s what hurt the most. A non-competitive play. He’s in great spirits. I know he’s happy to be out there.”

The return of Kawhi Leonard has made the Los Angeles Clippers a serious title contender

In the upcoming season of NBA play, it is anticipated that the Los Angeles Clippers will be among the most formidable teams in the competition for the title of NBA champion. Because they have a team that is loaded with talented players, many of whom are making a comeback from injury, there is a good chance that they will win the entire tournament.

They have already shown that they are a championship-winning combination, and they would have won the championship the year before if Kawhi Leonard hadn’t gotten injured in a game against the Jazz. However, they did not win the championship because of this. The fact that Kawhi Leonard and Paul George play well together has already been established as a championship-winning combination. Nevertheless, they will have another chance, and when that time comes, they will be better equipped to take advantage of it.

They are in a very fortunate position to have two strong scorers on their team in the form of Normann Powell and John Wall. When they’re on, they’re on, and their roster depth is unmatched; no other team can compete with them because they have such a strong advantage. If they can avoid getting injured, there is currently no team in the NBA that is powerful enough to beat them in a best-of-seven series. If that holds true, then they are unbeatable.

Kawhi Leonard along with John Wall has looked pretty good so far this season, and they both are going to get even better as we progress further into the season. Hopefully, the Clippers will be able to win the first championship in franchise history this season.
