Mustafa Ali took a play out of X-Pac’s book
Mustafa Ali is one of the most impressive stars in WWE thanks to his move-set. The high-flyer might not be battling for the top titles yet, but he regularly provides amazing moments for the WWE Universe to enjoy.
Ali might be known for his top rope antics, but he has some other unique moves too. One of them comes from just outside the ring as he jumps in from between the middle and top ropes, does a somersault and it finishes off with a face plant.
Ali was asked what this move was called, and the WWE star said it was based on X-Pac’s move. X-Pac is a two-time Hall of Famer and had a great time in the promotion during the D-Generation X days.

X-Pac certainly was one of the most enjoyable stars during the 90s, but Ali has been shuffled a lot between brands.
Ali gets a reset
While Ali is one of those underrated and underused stars in WWE, he has received a bit of a reset in WWE.
Ali was suspected to be the hacker on SmackDown, but for some reason, WWE never pushed ahead with this storyline line.
They completely forgot about him for a while but Ali was moved to Raw recently. The 34-year-old teamed up with Cedric Alexander and Ricochet as they battle against the Hurt Business.
Ali has impressed in his outings on Raw, and it will be interesting to see what happens next with him. The 34-year-old has to do well and this is his chance to impress. However, WWE have messed up several stars with their writing, and hopefully, they don’t do the same to Ali.
