Maxx Grosby Injury & Comeback

When a player gets hurt, he is usually told to sit out for as long as he takes to heal. Not for the defense of the Las Vegas Raiders, Maxx Crosby. Crosby reportedly had a broken right hand and a torn left shoulder while playing on the field.

Consider that for a second. On a football field, it’s difficult enough to hit players with the force. An injury to the hand or shoulder hurts. It seems that Crosby had no trouble merging the two. He felt energized by it. It was more painful, reportedly, during practice than during competition.

In each of his first two seasons (2019 and 2020 combined), Crosby had the most sacks for the Raiders, totaling 17 in total. Despite two ailments, he scored seven of his most recent points.

Following procedures to treat what Crosby described as a torn labrum in his shoulder and a broken hand, Crosby tweeted a picture of himself with his left arm in a sling and his right hand in a cast.
