Confirmed Tottenham Hotspur XI to face PSV Eindhoven in Champions League

Tottenham Hotspur take on PSV Eindhoven in what promises to be a delicious Group B encounter. The Lilywhites have not enjoyed the best of fortunes in the Champions League so far, drawing with Inter Milan and losing to Barcelona so far.

However, they now have an excellent chance to turn the tides in their favour and secure all 3 points. However, one cannot really undermine the Dutch outfit and an exciting match is surely on the cards!

As per the club’s official Twitter account, here is how the team will be taking the field:

Spurs fans must be happy with the fact that Christian Eriksen and Heung-min Son have both been named in the starting XI. The attacking duo are more than capable of giving the top defenders a run for their money and PSV will certainly have their work cut out.

Hugo Lloris will continue between the sticks and the defence line remains more or less the same. Ben Davies has been handed a start while the midfield will see Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele partnering up.

With Lucas Moura and Harry Kane occupying the other attacking slots, Tottenham must settle for nothing less than a win. They do have the players – and the quality – to cause a nasty upset for PSV at their home but they must be wary of the Dutch outfit.

Losing or drawing this game could prevent Tottenham from qualifying further and hence, Spurs should go in with all their power and secure a much-needed victory.
