Maria Sharapova is a former Russian professional tennis player who recently announced her retirement aged 32.
Sharapova is also one of the highest-paid female athletes in the World and the only Russian to hold a career Grand Slam.
She has won five Grand Slam titles – a number which many consider could have been bettered if not for the injuries she suffered later in her career. Sharapova’s pretty looks have also seen her featured in several modeling assignments.

Sharapova, who enjoyed celebrity status throughout her career has in the past had several relationships. However, late, she is rumored to be in a relationship with Britain’s Prince Harry’s friend Alexander Gilkes.
Gilkes is a British businessman and the co-founder of an online auction house named Paddle 8. The pair met each other in 2018 and have been together since, however, Gilkes was actually married before meeting Sharapova. He was married to fashion designer, Misha Nonoo, with whom he split up in 2016.
Sharapova announced her pregnancy on 20th April with her long-term boyfriend Gilkes.
