Manchester United travel to Molineux to on Tuesday as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to keep up his team’s top-four tilt and avenge their FA Cup quarter-final defeat against Wolves before the international break.

The Red Devils edged a 2-1 victory over Watford on Saturday at Old Trafford but Solskjaer will expect a whole lot better from his players against Wolves this time around.

Wolves, meanwhile, come into this game off the back of a 2-0 defeat to Burnley and will look to bounce back against United at home.

Team News

Anthony Martial is doubtful for the trip to Molineux after limping off in the win over Watford on Saturday.

Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian and Alexis Sanchez still remain out for United.

Victor Lindelof could be back to the squad after missing the Watford game due to personal reasons.

Probable Manchester United XI

Formation: 3-5-2

Manager: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

David De Gea (GK)

One of the best goalkeepers in the world, De Gea will look to keep a clean sheet at the Molineux.

Ashley Young (RWB)

Young has performed decently this season and will be preferred ahead of Dalot at right wing-back.

Chris Smalling

Phil Jones (CB)

Jones produced a top performance against Watford at the weekend and will be in line to start again for United.

Chris Smalling (RCB)

Alongside Jones, Smalling kept things tight at the back against Watford. The England international will be tasked to keep Jimenez at bay on Tuesday.

Victor Lindelof (LCB)

Lindelof has been excellent at the back since Solskjaer arrived at Old Trafford. After missing the last game, he’ll be back for this one.

Luke Shaw (LWB)

Produced arguably his best performance of the season last weekend as Shaw starred in United’s victory over Watford. He is a certain starter at Wolves.

Nemanja Matic

Nemanja Matic (CDM)

Matic was below-par on Saturday and will look to put in an improved display at Molineux on Tuesday.

Paul Pogba (LCM)

Pogba’s form has dipped in the last few games and the Frenchman will have to be at his best to guide United to all three points on Tuesday.

Ander Herrera (RCM)

Herrera had a poor game against Watford, failing to impose himself at the weekend. However, the Spaniard is one of the first names on the team sheet and he should keep his place in the starting XI.

Marcus Rashford (LS)

Rashford is bursting with confidence at the moment and remains Solskjaer’s main man in the attack.
