Liverpool host Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side on Saturday at Anfield and will need to be at their best after back-to-back losses.

Jurgen Klopp’s men have been defeated three times in the last four games and are enduring a slight dip in form. Though they are on course to win the Premier League, the Reds need to be dominant and take away maximum points against the Cherries on Saturday.

On the other hand, the South-coast club would be hoping to capitalize on Liverpool’s recent poor form and put up a good fight.

Jordan Henderson and Xherdan Shaqiri are ruled out of this fixture as they are recovering from their injuries and Naby Keita is doubtful due to fitness issues.

Joe Gomez (CB)

Gomez returned to the starting XI against the Blues and he formed a partnership with Van Dijk in the absence of Joel Matip. He should start and help the team keep a clean sheet.

The Dutchman has not been at his best in the past few weeks but he is a key player under Klopp. He will be partnering with Gomez in the heart of the defence.

Andy Robertson (LB)

A pivotal player, he has been an extra option in the team’s attack by supporting from the wing-back position. He seems to have a wand of a left foot and would be counted upon to deliver the much-needed crosses.

Georginio Wijnaldum (LCM)

The 29-year-old ha been a regular starter under Klopp and should start this fixture. His absence was deeply felt in their loss to Chelsea in the FA Cup.

Fabinho (CDM)

The former Monaco man has not been the same since his return from injury. However, he is the only defensive midfielder in their ranks and needs to put in a shift in his game.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (RCM)

The Englishman would get a start in the absence of their injured captain.

The Egyptian is Liverpool’s top scorer this season and he must take the responsibility of scoring, which he didn’t come up with against Watford.
