Liverpool stretched their unbeaten run in the Premier League to nine games in a row as Jurgen Klopp’s side came away with a 1-0 victory over Huddersfield Town at the John Smith Stadium.

Liverpool controlled the game in the early stages of the first half and Mohamed Salah found himself at the end of Xherdan Shaqiri’s pass to make it 1-0 for the visitors.

Huddersfield put in the hard yards and tried to claw their way back into the game, showing a lot of promise with passages of impressive build-up play. Philip Billing sent his free-kick inches wide of Alisson’s outstretched hands.

The Terriers were unable to find the equalizer and the Reds held on to their lead to bag all three points.
