Taylor Fritz

The 24-year-old made it to the fourth round of the Australian Open for the first time, where he lost to Stefanos Tsitsipas in a phenomenal match. He followed it up with a quarterfinal appearance in the Dallas Open. Fritz stopped an in-form Rafael Nadal in the finals of the Indian Wells Masters to win his first title of the season. Fritz made it to the quarter-finals of the ATP Houston and the Monte-Carlo Masters.

He won his second title in 2022 after defeating compatriot Maxime Cressy in the Eastbourne International final. At Wimbledon, Fritz reached the quarterfinal stage at a major for the first time in his career. In the Cincinnati Masters, Fritz progressed to another quarterfinal.

Mackenzie McDonald

The 27-year-old has not had a great season. He has reached the quarter-finals at only one tournament so far. He defeated Aslan Karatsev and Filip Krajinovic to progress to the quarter-finals of the Dubai Tennis Championships, before losing to Andrey Rublev.
